I was thrilled to be centrally located in Bergamo, and the discounted fitness facility was just the cherry on top. The shared lounge and city-view balcony were perfect for my morning coffee.
Oh, and how could I forget the privilege of having to drag my luggage up to Caprotti Park? Such a delightful experience.

The hotel's decoration is simply charming, with beautiful artwork and cozy sitting areas. It made me feel like I was staying in a small art gallery. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy access to the rooms and general areas, ensuring a comfortable stay for us older guests.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there when it comes to carrying luggage. It would have made our vacation even better as seniors sometimes struggle with heavy bags.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! the location was perfect, right in the centre of the new town and close to the main cathedral. It was so convenient to explore the city from there. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always ready to help with any request I had. Next, the rooms were simply lovely, with beautiful views of the old town. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had ample storage space. Lastly, the breakfast included was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from, including proper coffee and chocolate cake.
All was spot on, no improvements needed!

The breakfast offered a variety of options and both the coffee and pastries were enjoyable. The location was also convenient as it was near public transportation and popular attractions. the free wifi was a nice bonus.
Our Easter stay was not the best due to the lack of cleanliness in the room. The bathroom was dirty and the linens appeared to have not been changed.

The rooms at Donizetti Rooms were cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. As someone who values free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, I really enjoyed my time here. The ceiling fans added a nice touch, keeping the room cool and comfortable during my stay. And of course, having a minibar in the room was a great convenience, allowing me to enjoy a cold drink whenever I wanted.
Personally, I found the shared bathrooms a bit inconvenient. Although they were well-maintained and clean, I would have preferred having a private bathroom for more privacy.

Great location close to train station and old town. Nice breakfast spread and friendly staff who were willing to assist with recommendations for places to eat.
Easter decorations still up in July, not very clean. Musty smell in the room and uncomfortable bed.

The value for money at Donizetti Rooms was fantastic, with spacious and clean rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and even a mini bar. The location was convenient, close to transport and attractions, and the owners, Marcella and her husband, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations and even provided homemade muffins as a surprise treat!
Breakfast delights could be enhanced with more variety.
